MEACHAM GINGER COOKIES
- 1-1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 2/3 cups molasses
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 tsp. soda
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- salt
Put sugar, molasses and shortening on stove. Let boil up, then add other ingredients. Chill dough.
Roll out very thin. Cut with cookie cutters.
Bake at 375 degress.
