To Missoula on the Northern Parks Ltd. |
Tuesday May 23, 2000 - Going to the Sun Highway We drove along Lake McDonald and its main feeder, McDonald Creek - rushing water from mountain snow melt that will slow to a trickle in the summer. This segment is known as Sacred Dancing Cascades. After this brief excursion into Glacier National park, we returned to Kalispell. There are no crowds yet as tourist season doesn't start until June, thank goodness. Tonight we went to Café Max where we had Copper River salmon, which was wonderful. Tomorrow, we plan to see the Conrad Mansion in Kalispell.
