We arrived early at our motel in Pierre (pronounced Peer) and we have free DSL so we are catching up on things. We took a short walk and bike ride along the Missouri (upper end of Lake Sharpe) on the Lewis and Clark bike/hike Trail in Pierre, next to our Motel.
Leaving Pierre Tuesday morning, we travelled on SR 1804 along the Missouri River enroute to Mandan, ND.
Just up river from Pierre is the Oahe Dam and Lake Oahe. Lake Oahe reaches all the way to Bismark.
