Wednesday May 24, 2000 - Start of Lindblad Tour, Glacier National Park

At one o'clock, we joined our Lindblad Expeditions tour group at the airport where we were served a light lunch. Our expedition leader is Scott Carsley, a Geologist and Owner, Co-founder of Yellowstone Alpen Guides . The expedition historian is Harry Fritz, Professor of History, The University of Montana

We then got on the Rimrock Stages Trailways bus and headed for Glacier National Park.

We rode up Going to the Sun Road again (still not open over the pass) and went for a hike at Trail of the Cedars nature trail, along a very full Avalanche Creek.
