In contrast to Zion's relatively narrow canyon, Bryce Canyon is a wide amphitheater with perhaps the largest single collection of spires, called Hoodoos. At Bryce, you are looking down from the top rim from a series of waypoints along the main park road. At some waypoints one can see distant landmarks, including parts of the Grand Staircase.
